The Blue Diamond Library was opened in 1970 in a small trailer purchased with a Federal Library Grant. In 1989, a local Blue Diamond resident constructed the new 1000-square-foot library, which now houses over 7,000 volumes and serves the 260 residents of Blue Diamond.
